A 7'10" size functions as an oversized shortboard or funboard alternative tailored for larger surfers (200 lbs+) or longboarders transitioning down. It packs extra foam under the chest for paddle power while remaining maneuverable. Adds forward volume to catch waves easily and helps prevent pearling.Tapered rails: Thicker along the center stringer and foiled out toward the edge so you can sink the rail at speed. Rocker profile: Moderate entry rocker combined with a flat center and slight exit rocker out the tail.Fin setup: Multi-fin configuration (often 5-fin FCS) letting you ride as a thruster or quad.
